Troop 550 is offering online hybrid Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED classes.

Wilderness First Aid:

Students are enrolled in a hybrid class - 8 hours of course content is accessed online, to be completed at your convenience.  Once the student completes the online class, a skills evaluation is scheduled with Troop 550 Instructors.  The skills evaluation is approximately 8 hours of skills practice and evaluation.

CPR/AED:

Students are enrolled in an online class, approximately 2 hours of online content, followed by a scheduled skills evaluation.  Troop 550 offers Adult, Child and Infant CPR instruction.  We use Prestan CPR dummies with feedback for compression effectiveness and rate.

Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED skills evaluations may be scheduled on the same day.

Certification:

Upon completion of Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED, students are issued an ECSI Certificate of Completion.  Renewal is recommended after 2 years.  This Certificate of Completion meets the requirement for Scouting America High Adventure Base Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED training.
